The Cocora Valley is a unique ecosystem, home to majestic wax palms and incredible biodiversity. During the hike, you will be surrounded by the soft song of birds, you will be able to watch the Andean condor soaring through the skies above the mountains, and spot the yellow-eared parrot inhabiting the wax palms. Along the way, you will encounter a wide variety of other bird species, making this experience a true paradise for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
Itinerary:
8:00 a.m. Meet with the guide and driver.
8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Travel by vehicle to the Cocora Valley.
8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Hike (circuit) through the wax palm forest and cloud forest.
1:00 pm to 1:30 pm: Return to Salento by vehicle.
1:30 pm: The activity ends in the town or at the hotel.
