Itinerary:
This tour starts from the hotel, where the driver and guide will pick you up to begin the activity in Cocora Valley. There, you will take a 3-hour hike through the mountains, spotting Colombia’s national tree, the Wax Palm, and with the possibility of observing the majestic flight of the Andean condor.
After exploring the wax palm forests, you will return to Salento to walk through its colorful streets and learn about the town’s history. The guide will recommend some restaurants for you to enjoy lunch.
At 2:00 p.m., the guide will wait for you in front of Salento’s church to board a Jeep Willys that will take you to a coffee farm. There, you will learn about the entire coffee culture that identifies Colombia worldwide, participate in the complete coffee process from planting to harvesting, and finish with a tasting of an excellent cup of coffee.
